APPAREL DESIGN

The Line Up

Currently working at The Line Up as a Product Surface Designer, where I create original graphics, color palettes, and apparel designs. My role includes developing custom looks for several of our high-profile NBA and NFL clients, as well as competitive, collegiate, and high school teams. This portfolio highlights a selection of the work I’ve created for the company.

Make it

Visionary Manufacturing

For two years I worked for a manufacturing company as the main designer. I created CAD flats, tech packs, patterns, illustration, and logos. I had the opportunity to work for many clients designing clothing with many different materials and finishes.

Designed for the brand HGT

Vans + Michelin

The objective of this project was to reflect brand collaborations and their respective histories through apparel design. In this jacket, the sleeves are representative of 'Bibendum', the Michelin man, while the body has classic Vans checkers. The following are the final renders of the design process, after researching the company histories and current cultural influences of the target consumer. Gravity Sketch was utilized for the final presentation of this design at PDX Study Away Program in Portland with VF Corp.

The Trail Runner

The Trail Runner shirt was a project done at ArtCenter for a Product Design class. The option was to make either sports apparel or shoes, so I chose outdoor apparel because outdoor exploration is an activity that I love and have experienced as a consumer with these products. This shirt is specifically for the beginner trail runners, as it provides what I saw as an unfulfilled need: padded protection on both the arms and hips, which gives confidence to a runner and her desire for safety.

Nike + PDX

This was a presentation for Nike from the PDX study away program I participated in. The objective of the assignment was to design a pattern and color for a sports uniform based on athletic research of our choosing. This was designed with the All Blacks New Zealand Woman's Rugby Team in mind, and inspired by Maori culture represented in the team.

Under Armour + PDX

The objective of this project with Under Armour was to create a shoe and specifically my role in the group was to create the pattern. A partner and I developed the story and color, our ideas were then incorporated in the teams’ collection and presented to corporate leadership at UA.
